Question 1

What can I check with PageTern today?

Accepted Answer

After creating an account, you can save multiple sites, each with its URL and up to 20 key-page URLs. PageTern runs scheduled URL-availability checks and inspects each saved page for broken links. Open and resolved link findings are available in the signed-in workspace. Forms and customer journeys are not checked.

Question 2

How often are my key pages checked?

Accepted Answer

Choose an hourly, daily, or weekly cadence for each key-page URL. Scheduled availability checks use the cadence saved for that page.

Question 3

Where can I see the check results?

Accepted Answer

In your workspace, each saved key page shows its latest available or unavailable result and the time it was checked. A page that has not had its first scheduled check yet is shown as not checked yet.

Question 4

Is the site URL checked too?

Accepted Answer

The site URL is saved with your site details. Current scheduled availability checks apply to the key-page URLs you add, each with its own cadence.

Question 5

Does PageTern check forms or customer journeys today?

Accepted Answer

Not currently. Checks for forms and important customer journeys are planned for the broader service. The current scheduled checks report URL availability for saved key pages.

Question 6

Does PageTern find broken links?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each scheduled check reads a saved page and checks its distinct HTTP or HTTPS links. Broken links are saved with the source page, target URL, and latest HTTP status or failure reason. In your workspace, you can review open findings, mark them resolved, and return to them in resolved history.

Question 7

Will PageTern create repair tasks or fix my site automatically?

Accepted Answer

PageTern keeps broken-link findings in your workspace so you can review and resolve them. PageTern does not automatically change your website or promise a repair outcome.

Question 8

Is the daily status report available now?

Accepted Answer

No. Sending a daily status report is planned; it is not part of the current scheduled URL-availability checks.

Question 9

Is the report preview based on a live customer site?

Accepted Answer

No. The report preview on the home page is illustrative sample content. It is not live customer data or a report from an actual monitored site.

Question 10

What does PageTern cost, and when will planned features be available?

Accepted Answer

Pricing and timing details are not provided in the supplied product information. Contact the PageTern team for details; no price or launch date is stated here.

Question 11

Does PageTern guarantee uptime, issue detection, or repair response times?

Accepted Answer

No uptime, issue-detection, repair-outcome, or response-time guarantee has been provided. Current checks show the latest URL-availability result for each saved key page; they are not a promise to detect every website problem.
